Abstract: 

This study focuses on the investigation of intelligent form-finding and vibration analysis of a triangular polyhedral tensegrity that is enclosed within a sphere and subjected to external loads. The nonlinear dynamic equations of the system are derived using the Lagrangian approach and the finite element method. The proposed form-finding approach, which is based on a basic GENETIC ALGORITHM, can determine regular or irregular tensegrity shapes without dimensional constraints. Stable tensegrity structures are generated from random configurations and based on defined constraints (nodes located on the sphere, parallelism, and area of upper and lower surfaces), and shape finding is performed using the fitness function of the GENETIC ALGORITHM and MULTI-OBJECTIVE optimization goals. The GENETIC ALGORITHM's efficacy in determining the shape of structures with unpredictable configurations is evaluated in two distinct scenarios: one involving a known connection matrix and the other involving fixed or random member positions (struts and cables). The shapes obtained from the ALGORITHM suggested in this study are validated using the force density approach, and their vibration characteristics are examined. The findings of the comparative study demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed methodology in determining the vibrational behavior of tensegrity structures through the utilization of intelligent shape seeking techniques.

Abstract: 

The common consideration on economic model is that there is knowledge about the risk of occurrence of an assignable cause and the various cost parameters that does not always adequately describe what happens in practice. Hence, there is a need for more realistic assumptions to be incorporated. In order to reduce cost penalties for not knowing the true values of some parameters, this paper aims to develop a bi-objective model of the economic-statistical design of the S control chart to minimize the mean hourly loss cost while minimizing out-of-control average run length and maintaining reasonable in-control average run length considering Taguchi loss function. The purpose of Taguchi loss function is to reflect the economic loss associated with variation in, and deviations from, the process target or the target value of a product characteristic. In contrast to the existing modeling approaches, the proposed model and given Pareto-optimal solution sets enables the chart designer to obtain solutions that is effective even for control chart design problems in uncertain environments. A comparison study with a traditional economic design model reveals that the proposed chart presents a better approach for quality system costs and the power of control chart in detecting the assignable cause.

Abstract: 

The main problem of water resources planning is the inappropriate allocation between different consumers. Water allocation planning is a complex, multi-variable, and multi-constraint problem, which requires advanced optimization methods to be solved. Classical optimization methods are facing some limitations such as being trapped in local optimum points, and difficulties in handling different variables. In this paper two of these methods including particle swarm optimization, PSO and multiobjective non-dominated sorting GENETIC ALGORITHMs, NGGAII were explored and their efficiency in optimization water reservoir operation problems is compared. Dealing with the necessary of multiobjective programing accuracy, two single objective models was developed separately using PSO to verify the NSGAII results.

Abstract: 

The ability to choose the most optimal change in the composition of the portfolio of assets, brings the investor to the highest level of investment in terms of efficiency and effectiveness in the dynamic and changing market. Rebalancing the portfolio occur through a change in the composition of assets weights, remove the assets, bought and sold assets and etc. Therefore, in this study solving the multiobjective portfolio rebalancing model with fuzzy parameters. The return, risk, liquidity and uncertainty as a key financial criteria are considered. Due to its importance as well as transaction costs, the net return of the portfolio are adjusted. the multiobjective portfolio rebalancing model with fuzzy parameters is solved by fuzzy goal programming and a hybrid intelligent ALGORITHM that combines fuzzy simulation with a GENETIC ALGORITHM. The results demonstrated the effectiveness of the solution approach and effciency of the model in practical applications of rebalancing an existing portfolio.
